Meet Our

Pastor Julian LaMie
Pastor Julian LaMie hails from Woodworth, IL, a rural community roughly an hour south of Beecher. He was raised in the church and attended Lutheran schools from grade school through college and seminary.
While working on his BA in theology and theological languages from Concordia University Chicago, Julian did a study-abroad program at the Westfield House of Theological Studies in Cambridge, England. It was there that he met Juliana, his wife. Juliana is originally from Brazil, but spent half of her life in England.
Julian returned to Westfield House a second time in 2015 for a year of studies. He finished his MDiv from Concordia Seminary St. Louis in 2019. Julian and Juliana have four children.

Peace is the center of our message, and the center of our church. The symbol of true peace intentionally sits in the center of our logo: the cross of Christ, one with the Spirit, gently hovering over our river of faith, gracefully expanding our finite view of God. Our vibrant window remembers our history,
while peacefully encouraging our future with deep calming waters, warm guiding light, and bright hope of growth and new beginnings. Three historic churches, growing together as one congregation, united in Christ, centered on peace.
